Tammin sounds like alphabet soup dropped on the floor--the letters just look so accidentally together. I don't like it at all. Tamsin would be much more attractive, as would be Tamar, Tamara, Tamora, Tamaya, Tomasa, Tamiko, and Tomiko.
I can, however, say that at least it's better than Tamarind. ;D
