If I heard "Cinder", I would think it was a girl. Kind of reminds me of Cindel from the Ewok movie.

I expected it to be a girl. But it's not bad. I wanted to name our dog Cinder or Ember.

I actually kinda like that. Cinder is pretty cool. I just hope he doesn't get teased as Cinderella...
