[Opinions] Vaughan
I was waiting for a bus today, on Vaughan street, and it got me thinking about how nifty it actually is. It looks so...dark and serious. And cold. Of course, maybe that is because I was waiting for a bus in the dark, in the snow. But still.I kinda like it. What do you think of Vaughan? What would you pair it with? The first combo that popped into my mind is the very intense Vaughan Vincent. I like that ok - Vaughan seems to need intensity. Oh and do you prefer Vaughan or Vaughn?

I like it with the extra a best, although Vaughn is okay too. I used to know one - not in the least dark or serious, but tons of fun and really good company. But the name does seem to have a bit of drama going on. Hmm maybe..Vaughan Friedrich
Vaughan Eliot
Vaughan Percival
Vaughan Fitzmaurice
Vaughan Ralph
Vaughan Hugo
Vaughan Valentine
Vaughan Vladimir
Vaughan Emanuel
Vaughan Roland
Vaughan Cadwalader
Vaughan Lionel
Vaughan Montgomery
Vaughan Winter

Hmm, I've never really thought of Vaughan before, but I like it. I guess it could be dark and mysterious. Vaughn is definitely the better sp.Vaughan Vincent doesn't work for me. The alliteration makes it too intense, as you say.

I've always loved Vaughn, for a girl. There was a book I read when I was younger in which there was a female character named Vaughn. I'd never heard it for a boy so I always assumed it was a girls name. I love it on a girl.

you know whatthat would actually be really neat. I can totally see that, Vaughn on a girl. It's severe, but in a sort of feminine starchy Victorian-Steampunk kind of way. I think of really intricate lace collars. hmmm very interesting

I prefer Vaughan because one of my hobbies is seeing how many letters I can squeeze into a single syllable. I think Vaughn would have a slightly easier time getting people to spell it though.I think it's a decent name in principle, and it gives me a nice image of a modest and moral but not all-American-WASP guy who loves brown argyle. The problem I have with it (besides not really loving the sound) is that with almost any middle name or surname, it sounds like "von _____". Even in Vaughan Vincent. Though I just realised that it probably popped into your head subconsciously because of Vince Vaughn. Ew.Now that I think about it, Ludwig Vaughan would make an AWESOME combo and anyone who doesn't like it can go off into the dumb people corner.

oh maaanVince Vaughn, that just ruined Vincenet for me! I want to like Vincent so much. I want it to be classy and not sleazy.I actually kinda like that is sounds like "von ____". It gives it such a malevolent cloak of malevolence. And I think that is what keeps it from sounding too flakey. Ludwig Vaughan is also excellent in capturing that spirit. Well done!
