I prefer Edward to Theodore, but I also prefer Ned to Ted. If I used Edward, I'd use Ned; if I used Theodore I'd use Theo.

I prefer Ned for Edward and Teddy for Theodore. I don't dislike Ted, but it's a bit bland. If I had to pick, I'd use Theodore as the full name.

I'm not a huge fan of Theodore, even though I'd be happy to see a few Theodores nn Ted rather than yet another trendy name.

I think Ted doesn't stand well on its own, it feels awkwardly small, especially since it's typically used as a nn for the imposing Theodore.

It's ok, but a bit dated and a bit teddy bear-ish. But I definitely prefer it as a nickname for Edward to Theodore. I quite like the name Edward and hate the name Theodore.

I don't like it at all. I think it sucks all of the life and spirit out of Theodore. It's like Theodore is a grape and Ted is a raisin.

I would automatically assume it to be a nickname for Theodore, and I like Theodore better than Edward so for that reason I choose Theodore.

I like the nickname Teddy better than Ted. I prefer it as a nickname for Theodore rather than Edward.

I'm not big on the nn Ted. I prefer Ned. I think both are too slight to stand on their own.
