I immediately think of animal fur. My dog has a brindle coat, which I find intriguing, but I can't imagine actually using Brindle as a name for a child.

Well, I know a Chihuahua named Brindi, who got her name from the coat pattern brindle. Would be fine on a pet or something like that, but not on a real person...

I know someone with the surname Brindle. Can't imagine it as a first name.
