Message: "Lindsy" - Behind the Name

Have you seen this spelling used before? I got an email from someone today through work and at first I thought it was just mis-spelled, but they use it again with the same spelling later in their signature too. It doesn't look right to me for some reason. Do you think this is a valid spelling? Thoughts? It must be on someone who is at least of working age.

It looks like it's missing the 'a'. Or the 'e' (depending on which variant you prefer, Lindsay or Lindsey). Don't like it.

Well, I think all spellings are "valid", it's just that Lindsy looks incomplete to me. Like you, if I saw that name typed I'd assume it was a typo.

It's probably used, but it's a rare spelling of the name.
