[Opinions] Esma
Does anyone like it?
It was the name of an Aussie actress, Esma Cannon (1905-72), a tiny little thing who's in an old comedy on the television as I type this.
I think it's a good compromise between Esme, Esmee, Ismay.

It reminds me of eczema unfortunately. I want to like it though.

Not really. I like the Arabic name Asma better, since it has no connection to Esme. I find Esme to be overrated.I knew that in Turkish, Esma is a form of Asma. Never heard Esma used as an English name, though! Then again, some names have more than one origin...

I like it. It's a good alternative to Esmee, which I'm getting really sick of.

I like it. It reminds me of Esme and Ozma combined.

I don't like it. I prefer Esme / Esmee even though I don't really like those either.

I prefer Esme. I think you'd run into a lot of problems with people confusing Esma and Esme. Even though Esme isn't used that often, there's a fair amount of people who know of it through Twilight and other means. I would stick to it.

The first I had heard of this was on a dramatization of Hattie Jacques! I prefer Esme
