I like May. (I also like Maya and Maisie but that's another story!)
I don't think it would be weird for a May not to be born in May - any more than I expect April or Avril to be born in April or even June in June.
I have a niece - born this morning called Hilda-Mae. The only other Mays I have met are old women and it was probably a nn.
