[Opinions] Re: Malachi
I love Malachi. It has a sultry, smoky quality to it. I know a woman who just named her son Malachi Jericho. (I love both names, but I don't like the way the names have the identical rhythm, plus the "k" sounds in the identical place in each name bothers me.) She wanted to use the nn Kai, but a close family member had already used it. Malachi's older sister (by 15 months) couldn't say Malachi for the longest time. She ended up saying, "Dead Eye" which was pretty funny. Malachi Mason isn't the best pairing I've ever heard. But it isn't bad and I certainly wouldn't let it stop me if I truly loved the name Malachi. It isn't easy to find a name that "feels right." To have to give it up because it isn't an absolute perfect fit with the surname makes little sense to me.
