I used to totally love it and would've used it for a mn on a girl. (I believe my combo was Evelyn Blythe.) But now it just feels like a trusty good name. I like it on a female--it's very springy--but I think I prefer it for a male. It's very Victorian, and I associate it with Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables.
