[Facts] Icilio & Eduice
I met a couple recently, the man was Italian and names Icilio, the lady was Italian or Latina named Eduice. I cannot find the meaning of these names. Did anyone hear of them here? Thank you!

Regarding Eduice, none of my books about Italian names report it. Did you hear it or did you actually see it written. Because it sounds very similar to Edvige (Eh-d-v-ee-jeh), the Italian equivalent of Hedwig.

According to the Italian Wikipedia, Icilio is derived from a Latin name of unknown Etruscan origin. So there's a definite origin, but the meaning is unknown.
