Samuelita may also be found in Lusophone nations; -ita is also a Portuguese suffix. Samuelinha or Muelinha is more usual though.

I would suggest they are all diminutive versions of Samuela. Just like 'Sammy'/'Sammie' (Br.Eng.) is a pet form of Samuel/Sam in English.

I guess it would normally be used as a pet name for Samuela. Frankly the "-ita" suffix is very cutesy and I doubt it is used as a full formal name in most Spanish-speaking countries. It would be like naming your daughter Sammy-Boo or something x)

The diminutive -ita suffix is used in Spanish, not in Italian. In Spanish you'd have Samuelina if you wanted to say "little Samuela."

So I guess Samuelita could be a Spanish diminutive form of Samuela, but I have no idea if it's been ever used.

Well, I checked Google and Facebook, it's no problem to find real people with that name, so it seems it exists and is in use.
