[Opinions] Joya
Recently, I met a pair of twin girls named Joya and Francesca. I've always found Francesca very pretty, but I'd never heard Joya before, only Joy. I find it to be a very nice variant that I would easily consider using. What do you guys think of Joya?

I like it a lot. It is more interesting & less dated than Joy. It has a nice sound as well.
I came up with Joia (pronounced the same) for a 'create a family'.

I have always love Gioia, which is what I am assuming they were going for since Francesca is an Italian name as well. I find it very spunky.

I like it. I wouldn't use it because it reminds me of the Goya seasoning a biy. But I do think it's nice. Maybe if it were spelled as Joia I would see less Goya in it? IDK.It goes nice with Francesca in sound but the Gioia spelling would have been nice too.

Cool. I wouldn't pair it with a long name like Francesca, but I do like it a lot more than Joy. I'd like to meet one.

Joya is a varient of the italian Gioia. I adore it. Seriously love it. It's on my list of names I'd easily use if DH would agree. It's also a character in one of our favorite fantasy novels. :D

Joya, looks extremely odd, especially paired with Francesca. I would much prefer the Italian version, Gioia. I'm assuming the parents are Italian?
