[Opinions] Keyleigh...
I came across the name Keyleigh today & my first thought was that it was a weird spelling of Keely, then my friend said that she thought it was supposed to be Kylie. Later we found out that it's actually supposed to be a varient of Kaley. I figure if you wanted to get Kaley you probably shouldn't use the word 'key' at the beginning. Your thoughts?

I thought Keely at first, but I get where they are coming from. Not saying it's a good idea

I would say "Keely" when I saw this too.

My first thought was that it should be pronounced Kayley only because I'm familiar with seeing Kayleigh a lot. It's the most common spelling of Kayley here. I hadn't even thought of the "key" thing but now you mention it, it does look like it could be a variation of Keeley.

I also thought it was a Keely version and not a Kaley when I first read it. Kayleigh is a nice enough spelling, I wonder what made them think to use Keyleigh?

I get it. I don't like it, but I get it...
The Key- sound is the same as the Pey- sound in Peyton. My first thought was that it was pronounced like Kaylee.

When I first saw it I thought it was a version of Keeley, then Kaylee. It does look strange with the word "key" in it if it's meant to be Kaley.

I actually thought it was a variant of Kaley from the jump…I like it better than Kayleigh.

I would pronounce it how it looks. It's a stretch to get Kayley from that spelling IMO. This is why I don't like creative spellings. When you have to decipher the name like it's written in code, you've gone to far lol!

I wish it wasn't intended to be Kaley! It would have been much better if it was a weird spelling of Keely, because at least I could pronounce it properly.

Since last year I've been collecting every different spelling of Kaylee (and others). Keyleigh makes #22.EDIT - Sorry, this was meant to be a reply to the OP. Oops.
