Message: "Laurette" - Behind the Name

On the topic about stuffed animal names, I remember that I had a toy manatee that I named Laurette. I didn't know where I came up with it, since I only found out that Laurette was a real name on this site. I still think it sounds pretty. It makes a less common alternative to Laura and Lauren.

What do you think of Laurette? Know any good combos?

Meh, take it or leave it. I'm not huge on ette endings. And Lorette is town over here, so it sounds a little silly to me. It's not all bad though either.

It's okay as a nn, I am not a fan of the 'ette' sound. How about:

Laurette Aemelia
Laurette Justine
Laurette Annika
Laurette Olive
Laurette Martine
Laurette Fabienne
