I like it! It sounds very fantasy-like, which I think is really cool. At the same time, I find it difficult to imagine on a person.

It looks nice written down, and it's very unusual. It has the same beginning as Eli, Elias and other such names seeing a rise in popularity, but is far less common, and I love names like Eli etc... but at the same time, it looks very fantasy fiction and I'm not sure about the -hu ending. I can just imagine it being said 'Elly-HOOO' which makes me wince so much.

Hmmm...interesting. I would pronounce it Eh-LEE-hoo, which sounds kind of like a rare parrot in the Amazon rainforest or something. It sounds Hawaiian, which is interesting! I don't think I would use it, and ultimately, I don't think it would be wise to name your child that. Think of all the ways people could pronounce it, and I don't think your kid would like it much having such a unique name. But, it would be a super cool middle name! :)

I love Eli, but I think this is perhaps a bit much for me. I prefer Elias, Elijah, and Eliam as full names. Elihu is an interesting one though.

I like it but I am not sure if / how I would use it. I like the idea of using Eli as a nickname since it is much more common but still having that edge with the full name.
