I like it! It's not something I'd personally choose but it has a certain "old-school charm and sturdiness" about it and I can imagine it aging well

I like Neville. It's a warm, kind name.

I think it's dated and nerdy, also rhymes with devil.

My first thoughts will always be of Neville Longbottom, who is a fantastic character so not all bad. Looking at the name away from him, it's not bad but it does sound a bit nerdy.

It sounds a little pretentious as a first name, and the association with Neville Chamberlain ruins the name.

Neville is one of my favorites! The Harry Potter thing does not bother me, I like Harry Potter and I think Neville Longbottom is a great character.

I like it. It reminds me of The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

However, it's also stereotypically British and has some Harry Potter ties to it. No matter though, it's a nice name. :D
