[Opinions] Hillary
I've started liking this name for a girl, even though I very much prefer Hilaria.
What do you think of Hillary? Which spelling do you prefer, Hillary or Hilary? Will it remind people too much of Hillary Clinton?

I far prefer Hilary and always have, long before the Clintons and their extra L came along. I like it in a vague kind of way: a bit dated, a bit outside my range, but definitely OK for real-life use.
I kind of like it. It feels a bit dated. I prefer Hilary; it is lighter & less frumpy to me. Plus it doesn't make Hillary Clinton my first thought.
My sister is Hilary Patricia, meaning happy noblewoman. It fits her to a tee.
I've always loved her name. As a name, Hilary (with one "L" -- two "L's" makes me think of hills, not people) reminds me of an English country garden. It's so lively and happy sounding. But maybe that's because I know what it means . . . .
Anyway, Hilary gets thumbs up from me (but I am biased).

I like it. But whenever I mention it, people do mention Hillary Clinton. Well, who cares about that I guess! I kind of like Hilary over Hillary.
:)

I like Hilary rather than Hillary. Hilary used to be a favourite of mine for boys years ago. I prefer Hilaria.
Any Hilarys I have know have been lovely so it has good associations for me.
