[Opinions] Alberta
I've been thinking about it lately. It's a very stark white, red, and blue (possibly because of their license plates?). I think it has a regal air about it and it's very no-nonsense to the point of feeling bossy. I sat and thought about it awhile and I can definitely see Alberta as a brown-haired girl who's very driven and competitive, busy, successful at all she does, and tends to be pushy, though she's really a nice person when she stops and thinks.I think her middle name would have to be something classic and elegant that reflects her traditional, upper-class upbringing. Something like Alberta Rosemarie or Alberta Charlotte, although I also think Alberta Jacqueline is nice. Or maybe something surnamey, like Alberta Tallis or Alberta Fairchild. So what are your impressions of Alberta, and any combo ideas?

I really dislike Alberta, but then again I really dislike any obvious feminized versions of masculine names. It's just a naming pet peeve of mine I guess.

I want to like, but can't really. It really reminds me of the Canadian state, but then I'm not bothered by the likes of Georgia and Virginia, maybe because they're more common as people's names?

Alberta is a place name for me.I love Roberta but Alberta is nms. I can understnad the charm of it, though. I really like Alberta Rosemarie and Alberta Tallis. I'd use Alberta Eve.

I love it. The province is so beautiful, and after visiting, I threw around the idea of a daughter named Alberta too. I'd probably call her Albie. I like Alberta June.

My grandmother was Alberta Virginia. Can't say I love it much as it seems quite harsh to me. To give you some sib ideas, though, hers were William, Edna (their mother's name although she was called Susie), Anna and Alice. I think they all go well together.

I knew a girl whose middle name was Alberta. Her first name was Iva. so, Iva Alberta.

I don't know. I kind of like Albertine better. I think it's the emphasis on the "buurtah".
In spanish Alberta is just sooo stunning though. A real knock out.

I love it.My grandfather is named Albert, so I have a soft spot for Alberta. It's a burnt orange in my mind, with a touch of gold. :)If I had a daughter by this name, I'd call her Alby or Bertie. I think those are cute nicknames. Allie is also nice.

I find it unattractive and dowdy. Sorry. Maybe it will make a comeback soon.

I used to feel that way about it until I came up with an image of it on a real person. But I'm not entirely sure I like it yet, it's just been on my mind. Also, dude, I just suddenly thought earlier today about you and wondered where you'd disappeared to... and I see you just changed your posting name. Where have I been on that one?!
