I love it. It sounds really pretty and elegant, despite the rather hilarious meaning. :)

Also, the way I'm pronouncing it makes it not sound so much like aristocrat. I pronounce it with the stress on the first syllable: "AIR-iss-tah"

"Ear of corn" doesn't bother me, but I don't really like the name very much because it sounds like "aristocrat". Otherwise I'd like it a lot.

I like it as well. It doesn't matter to me that the meaning is actually quite pathetic in comparison to the sound of the name.
