[Opinions] Cairenn
What are your initial thoughts on Cairenn?
Apparently it's a legitimate name (not necessarily a variation of Karen), but do you think it would be perceived as "kre8tif?"

I really like the meaning of "little beloved," and think it would be a nice name to have.

Looking at it, I never would've guessed it'd be a variation of Karen. I was struggling to pronounce it in my head, but had settled on CAI-ren or cai-REN. Either way, pretty odd and yeah, the spelling makes it look too creative for me.
Also, the ren part made me assume it was a boy's name. But maybe that's just me.
Nice meaning though, you're right. Other names that mean beloved:
ahuva
Amy
Canan
Cara
Caramia (so pretty!)
Charity
Frigg (who would've thunk?!)
Jedidah
Kanda
Leeba
Leofdaeg
Mary
Mudiwa
Priya
Shivali.

has a different guess at the meanings.
It looks sort of eccentric/creatively spelled to me, but I don't think it looks as "made-up" as, say, Kerryn. I think it's okay.

My first thought was "cairn", then "Hm, that must be an Irish version of Karen or something". I don't think it looks kre8iv, but it might look a little "Look-at-me-I'm-so-Irish-but-I'm-really-not!!!" to someone who didn't know it was a real name. I'd like it if I saw it though.
