[Opinions] Re: Macy/Maisie/Macie and a BA (triplets)
in reply to a message by meena
I pronounce them differently. Macy and Macie I pronounce to rhyme with Casey. Maisie, I pronounce to rhyme with Daisy. In other words, MAY-see vs. MAY-zee.I like Maisie a lot as a nickname, though I don't care for Macy or Macie at all. I think they're the type of name that could work as a full name but would still be better as a nickname for something more formal. Ideas:Margaret
Marigold
Marilyn
Rosemary
Marisa
Mabel / Mabelline
Megan maybe
Matilda
Maximiliana
Amaryllis
Thomasina
Magdalena
Manuela
Marcelline (I think this would be FANTASTIC with Macy)
Margot
MargueriteThose triplet names are very peculiar. "Exotic" short first names, boring 80s middle names (honouring maybe?), and long feminine second-middle names. It's like the names go well together with each other, but not in their individual combos. I also think Lyra and Isla sound way too close. Still, overall, nice names.
