[Opinions] Re: Dagny?
I'm a fan of Old Norse/Scandinavian names, and Dagny is one of my favourites. It sounds spunky, sturdy, and in my opinion, a breath of fresh air. It's not at all a common name where I'm from, so I would've never guessed it to be considered old-fashioned in it's country of origin. (Though, perhaps that is beside the point -- I've always been drawn to the older names anyhow!) I don't think it's too unusual to use in an English-speaking country.
