I like Dagny a lot. A couple of other users referred to "dag" being slang for poop. Personally, slang would probably not prohibit me from using or liking a name. (Example: Richard has a particular nickname that is associated with slang, as does William but both of those names seem fine and reasonable choices to me.) I like the meaning of this name as well as the sound. The name itself sounds slightly masculine with a feminine ending. I also like the literary association.
