[Opinions] Jeb and Jed
I'm not sure which I like better. They both feel very outdoorsy to me, which I love, but Jeb is warmer (red/orange/yellow) and Jed is darker (dark green/black).Which do you prefer? Also, can you think of any full name for Jed besides Jedidiah? It's not bad, I just am in search of something more unexpected, but there doesn't seem to be anything else that would make sense. Maybe Jerald?I actually didn't realize that Jeb was short for Jacob until I looked at it just now. That might make me be able to like Jacob sometime in the future.

I like both but Jed wins out for me. I love the TV show The West Wing, and the president is Josiah 'Jed'. That's probably my favourite use of it. Jeb feels more old-fashioned to me.

I don't like either. They remind me of rednecks.

I like Jed a lot better than Jeb - Jeb reminds me of Jeb Bush and I also just think it sounds clumsy and heavy. Jed sounds like a more down-to-earth person. I think it would go well with Ben. Have you heard of Jep? I just found it in the database. I think it's totally rad.Full names for Jed besides Jedidiah...
Jerald like you said
Jared
Jordan
JudicaelBoy, that's harder than I thought :/

Kind of funny, I feel the opposite about them--I think Jeb seems more down-to-earth than Jed. Jep? It's kind of cool, and I'm always instantly drawn to any medieval nickname. I'm not so sure how much I like the sound, though. But I do really love Jem! If we ever had another boy James is the likeliest name right now, and I'd definitely call him Jem sometimes.Judicael is a good one! I just noticed that name a few days ago for the first time. Pretty awesome.

Jem is really cool, isn't it?!?! You could probably use that one with Jeremiah or Gemariah too! (well, Gem, but you know what I mean!)

Yep, the first place I heard of it was several years ago on a character named Jeremiah nn Jem, and I loved it. But I don't like Jeremiah, and was super excited when I came here and found that it was a medieval nn for James. I love medieval nicknames, and I love James! Win. DH isn't 100% sold on it, but he likes James enough so too bad for him. :PGemariah... somehow I've never noticed that name before. I don't usually like -iah names, but that one is pretty neato.
