Hey! I thought I would ask a real live Francesca this question ... do people call you Fran? Do you like the nickname Fran?? Have you encouraged or discouraged it, or is it not an issue?
I want to call my daughter-to-be Francesca, but have gotten a lot of discouragement from family and friends about using it, for fear people would call her "Fran."
What do you think?
