'A' for sure! I adore sweet Olive! I think it's very usable. Teasing is certainly a possibility, but I don't think it's so out there that she'd never live it down. It'd be one of those that kids might laugh at when she's younger, but learn to appreciate once they got a little older. She might hate it for a while and think about changing her name in the 6th grade, but by the time she's in 9th grade she will confidently love her name. But so many of us go through that progression anyhow (whether we're teased or not about our names), so why not? I would consider using Olive.
