Suzette is suitable for people, but it always reminds me of crepes, so it's hard for me to like it.
I've actually never heard Suzette as a given name in France, or even Quebec or Haiti (after all, there are people who speak French all over the world). Maybe as a nickname, but it's probably not used as a given name, especially nowadays.
