Aleksi is a long-time favourite of mine, but recently Aleksy had been added to the database and I like that too. WDYT?

I know Aleksi (which is Finnish) is pronounced a-LEK-see, and from the Facts Board, it seems Aleksy is the same.

Aleksy Gideon is a combo a like at the moment, but all suggestions welcome ...

Actually, Aleksi is pronounced AH-lek-see. The stress is on the first syllable in Finnish.

I LOVE the name! I prefer the spelling Aleksi (actually, I prefer Alexei or Aleksei), but Aleksy is fine too.

I love Alexei for a boy. I haven't heard of Aleksi or Aleksy before. I like them -- thanks for the information. Of the two I think I prefer Aleksi.

I like Aleksy and Aleksi and even Alexis on a boy so much. It's just so right there! I like Aleksy a lot. Gideon is a really cool name but it seems rather mismatched next to Aleksy somehow I guess it's the difference in origin the Polish and the Bibical.

I don't really care for the spelling Aleksy, but I love Alexei- I think I'd name my baby that if my fiance would actually let me! I can't think of many middle names for Aleksy, but how about Aleksy Roman?
