[Opinions] Hepzibah

I have to say that I don't mind the name at all, simply because of the super sweet meaning.
I think the sound is the main problem with it. Having so many unusual sounds such as P, Z and B all in one name sounds strange.
That is a nice meaning. I still think it has a pretty harsh sound and look to it. Somehow the Hepz- part just bugs me.
I agree it has a very nice meaning but the sound is not conventionally pretty. All those awkward consonants together...the pz transition is especially difficult to get used to. It also has a very distinctive Old Testament feel which might put some people off. Hepzibah does have a kind of lumpy charm though.
I think I prefer Hephzibah with an "ef" sound. Actually I am really warming to Hephzibah with Effie as a nickname so thank you for making me think about Hephzibah!

Nothing really wrong with it, I don't think. It does Seem like a bit of a doozer for a little baby, though. I'd never have the nerve to use it, but with the right nickname I could grow to like it on someone else's kid. Hepzi - like Pepsi?
Hepzi, that's a cute one.
Nothing is wrong with it, not in my eyes.
While I love Biblical names... this one's a bit "out there" for me. Is it pronounced with a z-eye-bah on the end, or a z-ib-ah?
z-ib-ah
I know that the meaning is nice, but I find it to be kind of pretentious.
Nothing's wrong with it, I like it. It's weird, but therein lies its charms for me.
