[Opinions] Novalie
Opinions? In the sense that it has a Swedish usage and is roughly pronounce new-vah-lee. TIA

I don't really like it. It sounds a bit like a brand. There is a hotel chain called Novotel, which is kinda what I think of. I prefer Coralie which has a similar style.

I guess I'll be a dissenter. I love this name. I couldn't care less if it was made up, although I much prefer it if it just sounds like nova+lee. Oh, it's so sweet. It reminds me of really beautiful white stars just shining away. In a weird way it kind of makes me think of someone acting in a star-like way (whatever that means). Sort of like if you were to say that someone was acting truthfully or fairly or madly. I don't know if that makes sense, but that's what it reminds me of.

I like it, but not all that much. Really like the idea of the nickname Nova, though.

I don't like the sound. Judging by the comments, it seems to be a recently-created name in Sweden.

I used to like it more. It was a sweeter looking version of Novalee from "Where the Heart is"...a blend between it and Natalie. But then I realized that it is still a made up name, even if it is an improvement on Novalee. There are many other names that I would rather use than this hybrid.

Not to pig pile, but Novalie isn't my cup of tea. I keep thinking of novacain (sp?).

What Ninor and Sigrid said. But at least this is one of the better spellings ...

Made up, trendy and juvenile. Very bad.

Uh noSuper trendy and modern. And made up.
I hate when people just add -li/-lie to pretty much any name these days and think its cute. It's not cute. What about just Nova, or Li?

I really like it. And only with that pronunciation.
