I can't help but think of that scene from Zoolander when I see that name. Which is ok, she was a strong female character.
I had a friend in art school call me
Katinka the whole four years we were there, so it makes me think of art and fun times and being loud. Good feelings.
I think it could stand on its own and age fairly well, but you'd have to be a certain kind of person to pull it off. A pudgy, unglamorous, shrinking violet
Katinka would be sad to see.
It actually tickles me to think of a
Katharine or
Katharina being called
Katinka.
