[Opinions] Adélie
I'm starting to like Adélie. I know this is a species of penguin (which I think was named after the wife of a French explorer), but I think it can work as a person's name as well. It has a very nice sound to it.What do you think of Adélie as a name? Do you think it could work?

I really like it! Nice alternative to Adele which is becoming too popular.

Super cute, fresh, smart. It could really grow on me. Penguins are adorable so I don't see it as a bad association at all.

I think it's very charming. Definitely didn't know it was a species of penguin so I doubt very many people will make that connection. It works as a name. Easily.

Awesome science connection for my mad scientist mind.

I agree with you, it does have a nice sound. The penguin association for me is a good one, I like penguins and I think they're cute. It could totally work for a person's name, definitely.

I think it works. I doubt that many people are even all that familiar with the penguin species, and since the species was named after a woman anyways (Adélie d'Urville, wife of Dumont d'Urville), then I think it would be fine.

adorably charming.Love it. I prefer Ada and Adeline for myself, but Adelie is simply charming.
