I like it. It is sweet but with exotic appeal.

I wonder if it will start getting popular due to Mila Kunis and/or an alternative to Miley.

Mila is gorgeous. Love it.

A similar name you might like is Mileva ("MEE-lay-vuh" or "mi-LAY-vuh") meaning little Mila. Einstein's first wife (and mathematician in her own right) was named Mileva. Just a crumpet to start the week.

I like it, but only with the original pronunciation: MEE-la. MY-la sounds weird.

Wait. Who pronounces it "MY-luh" / "MIE-luh?" I've only ever heard it with a long "ee" sound. Please tell me it isn't being mangled so soon.

I once posted on it and said I was going to pr. it MEE-la and everyone told me how this was incorrect.

Same with Milo (MEE-lo is the original), even though I understand that both Mila and Milo can be pronounced the American way as well.
