[Opinions] Re: Laikin...
I would pronunce it LYE-kin, since the first syllable looks like the "lai" in "balalaika," one of my favourite words. And the LYE-kin pronunciation is hardly great--lichen is the flat stuff that grows on rocks. If you really want to pronunce it LAY-kin, you'd do better to spell it Laken. That's streamlined, far easier to look at and spell, and less confusing with pronunciation. I'm still not a big fan of it--I prefer Larkin / Larken, like the character in Once Upon A Mattress--but it looks better as Laken.Laken Georgia would be fine--I do like Georgia a bit. I'd be sure to use a feminine middle name, since I've seen Laken on boys, too.Laken Pamela
Laken Ursula
Laken Johanna
Laken Joanna
Laken Renee
Laken Tacita
Laken Aurelia
Laken Amelia
Laken Teresa
Laken Serenity
Laken IsobelArray

I've seen the needle and the damage done
A little part of it in everyone
But every junkie's like a settin' sun.
