I prefer it as a nickname, but I think Sukie can stand on its own. Sookie looks even more like a nickname, so I wouldn't recommend it as a full name.

Sookie/Sukie could be a nickname for Suzette or Sumiko.

Can't use Suzette or any form of Susan/Susannah, and Sumiko wouldn't work for us. But thanks anyway.
