[Opinions] Phyla
Too science-y? Or possibly pretty? It has always sounded like a legitimate--even classy--name to me. I know botannical names are pretty, but what about less specific biological labels? FIE-luh.Note: it is also the name of a plant (genus name of a type of Verbena)

It does seem kind of namey, but the fact that phyla is a plural bothers the snob in me, and the original Greek meaning of phylum bothers her too (something like clan, tribe). It's sort of dictionaryish. But hey, Genera is namey, too (plural of genus). And dictionaryish names are not all that terrible.

Hm, it sounds okay I guess. I know a Myla and many Kyla's, so this isn't too far off. My first thought in looking at it though was "phyllo dough". Not really a good or a bad association, but that's what I thought of.

It has a pretty sound, but i really dislike 'Ph' names. I think It could pass as a legitimate name
