I used to really hate it because I disliked the 'eez' sound and because people often mistake my name when it is written down for Eloise (so annoying! And the same reason why I disliked Elsie for so long as well) but I recently started babysitting an adorable little girl with the name and it has definitely grown on me. I think it ages well and is quite cute. I also adore the nn Elly.
