[Opinions] Giulia
What are your thoughts on this Italian form of Julia? I find it spellbinding, and it sounds and looks smashing with my heavily Italian surname (begins with "B," ends in "ni," features a prominent "z" sound that renders it similar to "lasagna"). I also love Giulietta.Which of the following combinations appeal to you? Do you think Giulia necessitates an Italian middle name?Giulia Adelaide

Giulia is lovely, but in Italy it's EXTREMELY overused. It's been the top name for at least three years now!

Julia always seems kind of sad and too often becomes Jules. Giulia is refreshing. I don't think it needs an Italian middle name but it's simple enough that it won't look too over the top, and if it suits your surname then why not go all out?I like:
Giulia Agostina
Giulia Dorothea
Giulia Ginevra - not keen on Ginevra, but the alliteration is too good to pass on.
Giulia Ingrid
Giulia Marguerite
Giulia Ottoline - my favourite
Giulia Verena
Giulia Winifred

I like it. I think the spelling is perfect for you if it honours your heritage. I don't think it needs an Italian middle name.I think Giulia Violet and Giulia Rosalind/Rosamund are beautiful. :)
