Julie - Prefer Julie, very pretty not currently overused.
Robin - I have a 27-yr old dd with this name; she's always loved it.
Carrie - Prefer Kerry, but like both. I live in the US and pronounce them differently--Carrie with an "a" as in laugh.
Mary - Love it. For its elegance and humility and the way it rolls off the tongue.
Melissa - All I like about this name is the potential nn Liss.
Jessie - Better than Jessica but I think people will assume Jessica. Maybe not.
James - Love it. Love Jane for all the same reasons--see Mary above.
I live in the US and pronounce Aron and Aaron the same way. See Carrie above. Erin with a sound like "care". (Prefer Aerin spelling for this name).
