[Opinions] Delaney (m) and Denali (f)
I'm trying to find some new names for my list and there two have caught my eye from the D group.
I like Delaney for a boy and Denali for a girl, although the book lists them both as unisex.
So, what do you think of them and can you think of any good combos? I like Delaney Makarios and Denali Josephine so far.

Denali doesn't sound feminine at all.

Delaney is not a name I can condone. :) There's just always been something about it that seems too feminine for a boys name to me - even though I've only heard it once and it was on a guy. Also, it feels nickname-y to me, because of the ee sound at the end. Which I know is ridiculous because tons of full names end with that sound. But that's just the impression I get from this one.Denali on the other hand is really cool. Personally, I thought of this one for a dog name. It would be pretty sweet on a little girl too, but I don't think I'd ever have the nerve for that. Denali Josephine is adorable.

I kind of like Delaney on a boy, too. I'm a sucker for Del- names. Delaney Makarios is really nice. I never would've thought to pair those together! I would've went more with something like Delaney Clarence or Delaney Norman. But I think your combo is more exciting.Hmm, not really feeling Denali on anyone. It's too a kind of SUV, even though I know it's a place in Alaska. I guess the sound doesn't really appeal to me either. I do sort of like the idea of pairing it with something elegant and classic like Josephine. It makes Denali seem like it could be one of those random interesting names you see pop up in the 1800s.

Is Denali an Indian name? I know that a lot of Indian names are unisex.

Denali is a place name in Alaska (it's the real name of Mount McKinley), it's from Koyukon Athabaskan Native Americans).
