I didn't think of the band but I thought of Rasputin immediately and I don't think he makes a great namesake.

Plus, it's the feminine form of Rasputin... like if Rasputin had a wife or daughter, her surname would be Rasputina. That was what I first thought of when I saw it. I've never heard of the band.

Yep. I can somewhat see the goth appeal of Rasputina...but Rasputin ruins it for me.
