[Opinions] Auliffe
Wdyto the name Auliffe for a boy? Pronounced AW-liff. (It's a Scottish form of Olaf.)

This is hard! My first reaction was AW-liff? But if it's Scottish I can't say "no" to it! And Olaf is a rather nice name so, yes, I like it! :)
Knowing that it's a form of Olaf, I immediately like it. :) St. Olaf and St. Martha are the saints whose feastdays fall on my birthday, and Auliffe is infinitely more usable than Olaf, heh.
In fact, I like it all around. I remember that quite a while ago, you brought up Radclyffe for a girl; that's what Auliffe reminds me of, but I like it far, far better.

I've seen the needle and the damage done
A little part of it in everyone

I think I like it.
It confuses me at first when I look at it, but I like the pronounciation, can relate to the name and it has that cosy feeling to it like Hamish and other names.

I like it, on a Scottish boy only! I think it sounds cool and I love the fact that it's unusual. It just reminds me of Olive..
