[Opinions] Jennine
WDYT of this name? It's my best friends name, and I know when I have kids it will defiently be a name I honor (Right now I'm thinking Summer Jennine, but it changes often) Jennine is prononuced ja-NEEN (like Janine )Thanks for your help. By the way, what do you think of Summer Jennine, the combo itself, not the name Summer, which I know some people won't like because it is a 'season' name.

I'm iffy on Jennine, because it strikes me as a name that's not supposed to be Janine or Jeannine, but a name based on Jennifer that happens to sound exactly like Janine. When I see the Jenn part, I tend to want to stress the first syllable, like in Jennifer. So I'd personally prefer the spelling Jeannine or Janine.
I like the sound of Summer Jennine. It's a modest but dignified, moderately unique, nature-related name, which is right up my alley so to speak. On a real person (I've met one), Summer is unusual enough to be interesting without being stupid. (The Summer I know actually is kind of an airhead, but that's beside the point.)
The problem I see with it before anything else (and although it sounds trivial, I promise you it's not) - try signing that name a few times, fast, as if it was your signature, and see how well you like it. Haha.. I know because my own name is almost that bad! You sign your full name as often as several times a day, and it's a pain in the neck every single time.

What's so bad with the signature?
My guess is you're referring to the m's & n's in the center which get pretty distorted in a fast signature. My name has a similar problem and it's never bothered me. Also, most people's "legal" signature (the one they use on most paperwork) usually only includes a mn initial or just first name last name as in Robert J. Smith or Robert Smith.

My signature is my first two intitals and my last name AD Hunt, like my father is DEL Hunt and his father EL Hunt.
My brother Jon for a short period a happy face made out of the letters of hsi anme as his signature.

Just pick up a pen and try it, fast as you can, and get all the letters in and easy to read.
Summer Jennine hahahahah
Just the thought of it is too funny. In my handwriting anyway, it's hard to make the combo ummer when I'm writing at full speed, and almost as hard to make ennine, and have it be legible. My own name isn't nearly that bad, but I get all the letters in clearly only about half the time.
I suppose it depends on one's handwriting. If I was Summer Jennine, I'd have been S.J. for a long time by now!
