I don't think it would get mixed up with Leah.

I sometimes think of the ostrich-like bird when I see Rhea as a name on it's own, so I prefer it as a nickname (for Rheanna or Rhiannon). I don't think it would get mixed up with Leah.

I prefer it spelt Ria. And no, I don't think it would get mixed up :)

I really like the idea of it (it's such a pretty name!) but with jokes of diarrhea I don't think it would work...

I used to absolutely adore this name! It's lost some of it's glamour to me, but it still seems really stunning, in the most subtle way possible. Like a really pretty assasin. You know she's dangerous, but you can't get past how much her appearance and demeanor differ. Definately a power-name ;)
It might get a little mixed up with Leah, but not so often that it'd be a problem, I think.
