I love Leo and, believe it or not, find Delphi rather charming.
I'm wary of Leo's booming popularity as well, and I wouldn't be surprised if it entered the top 100, but I don't think that should deter you from using it. As for Delphi, I consider it to be workable/usable, but I'm not particularly sensitive to practicality (heck, one of my favorite names is Hildegard, and I think the NN Hildy renders it usable).
