[Opinions] Sibset
I've just watched a documentary called This Way Of Life about a family with six children in New Zealand. A few of them had interesting names.Peter and Colleen and their kids:
Llewelyn
Aurora
Malachi
Elias
Corban (g)
Salem (g)

Llewelyn - I've been told that this is a boy's name, but it sounds awfully feminine to me... am I the only one who thinks so? Anyway, don't like it on either sex.
Aurora - Pretty, but no longer my style. Loved it when I was 12 or 13.
Malachi - I know two Malachis, and they're rude kids. So that ruined it for me.
Elias - I like this one! Not enough to use it, but it has a pleasing sound.
Corban (g) - Mm, no.
Salem (g) - A GP of mine. Can never use it because it makes me think of the Salem witch trials and Salem the cat from STTW.

They started out so good. Corban isn't feminine at all, although Corbin for a boy would have fit nicely. And I can't picture Salem on a person, just a pet. Maybe it could work as a middle name.

I like Llewelyn, Aurora, Malachi, Elias, Corbin (on a boy!) and Salem (also on a boy). Why they had to go and mess the sibset up by naming a girl Corban I don't know...

I think the first 4 are lovely - it's especially nice to see Llewellyn as that's rather unusual. However I think Corban and Salem for girls are awful. I probably wouldn't mind them for boys, although I certinately wouldn't love them, but I'd never guess they were girls.

I was with them all the way until they got to Corban and Salem.

I love Malachi. I also like Aurora and Elias.I like Corbin for a boy with this spelling rather than Corban. I don't care for it for a girl regardless of spelling.Llewelyn is decent. I prefer the spelling Llewellyn. It's not a name I would use myself, but I can at least appreciate it.Salem is better suited for a pet, but I don't mind it for a person. It's a GP of mine, but not something I'd actually use.
