[Opinions] Pheona?
Recently I met someone with the name Pheona. I guess it's a twist on the classic Fiona… thoughts?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Fiona is such a gorgeous name as is, why ruin it with kre8ive spelling? (I may be a little biased since my name begins with "Fi" also, but really, it's a pretty awesome name.)

I love Fiona, but Pheona? Not so much.
I wonder if, like Alcyone said below, it's actually supposed to be an Indian place name. That would make it a little better in my eyes, but if it's pronounced like Fiona, it's probably unlikely.

Nope. Don't like it. Why would you ruin lovely Fiona with a weird spelling?
Pheona is a tragedy.
Fiona is much better.
My first guess would be that it was a twist on Fiona as well, or perhaps a combination of Phoebe and Fiona. Pheobe is sometimes used as a variation of Phoebe, so maybe it was a way to honor someone named Pheobe. I really have no idea, though.
I think it would have been better to just go with Fiona if it's supposed to be a variant of it in this case.
Additional info: I looked up Pheona, and it's also an Indian place name that is pronounced FEE-na.

Not a big fan of that spelling but Im not a huge fan of the name anyways...Unless it's a cultural thing or related to a different name I dont understand why people try so hard to be that different. Im not against uniqueness but some of it gets silly.
