Has anyone ever heard of this name?
I saw it in a namebook (A Swedish namebook, but I don't think the name is Swedish... it was in the uncommon name section) and I can't seem to find any info on it.

Doesn't look at all familiar, although Lemon was used as a man's name not infrequently in the USA in the early 20th century.

I like the sound of it, but the first thing I noticed was that it looks like the word "lemon." That's not really a big issue, though, and if the bearer of the name is Swedish, then it's even less of an issue.

I've never heard it before. It reminds me a lot of Lemony Snickett!

Lol, my cousin's name is Ramona and we met an international student who apparently didn't understand her name when we introduced her. He called her Lamona for 8 months. :) It feels to me like it belongs with Lashonda, Lakeisha, Ladonna, Latanya and the like.

No, I've never heard of this name, but it really reminds me of lemons-it sounds like it could be some sort of lemon cleaning product. "LEMONA-with the great scent of fresh lemons! It shines! It cleans! It polishes! Use Lemona Today!" :)

It's an unusual Greek name (Λεμώνα), there are a few of them on facebook.

Sorry, I don't know anything about it, but I'm guessing it's le-MOH-nah and not LEMON-ah (I'm sure most native English speakers will see "lemon" right away).
