[Opinions] BA: Boaz Abdelisa
Friends just had a baby named Boaz Abdelisa... Because of the husband's partial Moroccan heritage, I'm suspecting Arabic or something similar would be the sourse of the mn. I've never met a Boaz, I don't think and while I can't see myself using it, I do appreciate that they went w/ something that doesn't fit the trendy preppy pattern and there won't be oodles of them at school w/ his name.

Oh, I like Boaz! It's certainly distinctive, and Boaz from the Book of Ruth seems like such a genuinely nice guy, the name has always felt friendly and positive to me.

Lovely combo! I love Boaz, and I like the sound of Abdelisa, though it is new to me. My guess is it means "servant of Jesus" from the roots abd (servant) el (the) and Isa (Jesus).

I've never really thought about Boaz before, but I actually really like it. I'm completely unfamiliar with Abdelisa and don't really know what to make of it.
